Museum and Gift Shop

Visit our Kazoo Museum and Gift Shop
Monday through Friday – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
There is no charge to browse the museum and gift shop.

Guided Factory Tours

Fully Guided Tours are offered Monday to Friday at these hours:
10:00AM, 11:00AM, 1:00PM, and 2:00PM

This tour includes a short video presentation, kazoo demonstrations, a walk through of the kazoo factory with explanations of how everything works, and the opportunity to make your own kazoo to take home at the end of the tour.

Cost: $14.50 per adult, $11.50 per child age 4-12, and children 3 and under are free. Group discounts are available. Contact us for more information.

How Long Does It Last?
Our fully guided tours generally last from 45 to 60 minutes.

Summer Kazoozum Fun! This morning, my husband, son (10 yo), my niece (17yo.) and myself took a tour of the Kazoo Factory. We scheduled it in advance and is reasonably priced. Jewel was our guide and she was awesome!! The way she talked about Kazoo's - how they are made, where they are made, and how to change them for different sounds I for sure thought she had been with the factory for years. To my surprise she has only been with them for 8 months. The tour was perfect about 45 minutes, and the best part - at the end of the tour you make your own kazoo. I definitely would recommend this tour!

Keep Calm and Kazoo on! We had hoped to do the tour, but you need to schedule online for that. However, the guide , Jewel, was AMAZING! We where able to do the museum, just not the factory tour. You don't realize how many places kazoos have been!! Stage, screen, orchestras, TV! Jewel even said we could still create our own Kazoo!! We were four adults with grown children, having a blast! Not just for kids!! Great for rainy day, or hazy hot and humid low country day! Keep calm and Kazoo on!!!

A Fun and Worthwhile Stop As we made our way from Charleston to Savannah, we made a stop in Beaufort. S.C. purposely to tour the Kazoobie Kazoo Factory and Museum. This was recommended by a couple I had met while walking in Charleston and they were so enthusiastic about it that we HAD to stop. How glad we were that we did.
The museum itself is sweet and informative with great displays and of course there is a gift shop briming with colorful kazoos to choose from and all made, yes including the materials used, in the U.S.A.

Do not miss the personal tour of the factory! I bought our tickets conveniently through Trip Adviser. Our tour guide was a gem! Pun intended--her name was Jewel and she was just lovely and knows her stuff! At the end of the tour the kazoo you make is yours to keep too. This is a happy place and kids of all ages, especially the grown up variety will leave informed about kazoos and with a smile on your face.
